Questions before hiring me
Will my texts get blocked or flagged by carriers?
Most blocks come from three things: no A2P 10DLC registration, messages without an opt-out line, and sending too much too fast. I check your A2P status, add opt-out handling, cap daily volume and watch delivery and opt-out rates. I learned this the hard way on a client account that hit its daily opt-out limit, and fixed the cause.
What if the AI says something wrong, or annoys a lead?
The AI only answers from the information and rules you approve, it hands the conversation to a person when it's unsure or the lead asks for one, and sensitive messages can wait for approval. During the first weeks I read the conversations myself and adjust the prompt.
Do I need to buy new software?
Usually not. Everything is built inside your GoHighLevel. You pay GoHighLevel's normal usage for SMS and AI. Voice calls need Retell or GoHighLevel's Voice AI, and n8n only if your setup needs something GoHighLevel can't do.
How long until it's live?
If your A2P registration is already approved, the instant response and the first follow-up are usually live in one to two weeks. If it isn't, I start the registration on day one, and carrier approval can take from a few days to a couple of weeks.
Who owns what I build?
You do. Everything lives in your account, with written documentation, so you can keep it running or hand it to someone else. Nothing is locked to me.
Can you work across my agency's sub-accounts?
Yes. I build a standard setup once, then roll it out and maintain it per client, with a log of what changed in each account.
What about consent and TCPA?
I set up the technical side: consent fields, quiet hours, opt-out handling and do-not-contact tags. How you collect consent is your call, and for legal questions you should check with your lawyer.
How does payment work?
Everything goes through Upwork, hourly or with a fixed first step. You see the hours and the work, and payments are protected by Upwork.
